Tagging in Posts? Empty Tagging in Posts?

Hello!
I was thinking just now, "Can users tag each other in posts like Twitter, Facebook, or Google Buzz? If not that something someone should seriously look into!"

If you can, please contribute your time to write a response to this. This could really be beneficial to the forum, and it could help notify others faster.

Maybe, but I doubt it. Forums aren't really a place to make friends, but rather to discuss topics. Because of this, there is no need for tagging.
