I would answer this, but it's not a bias that I have. I like both, but solid facts show that PC is better, given the correct situation.

hey hey hey, thats a first. philip is the only person who's said they like windows better to me. what facts would show such a subjective conclusion as "windows is better?"

Note that I said "PC." The real strength is windows combined with a PC.

For one thing, you get way more for you're money. Apple computers always have ridiculously high prices on hardware that you could easily get the equivalent of on a PC for way cheaper.

PCs also are more customizable and upgradeable. For example, you don't ever see new graphics cards for an iMac.

Far more software is supported on PC. Anything mac-exclusive is typically either made by Apple or to be a Mac substitute for a PC-only program.

So yeah fool, there's just brief overview of a few reasons why.

those are good reasons. windows -vs- mac OS is a different story, however. but lets not get off topic.

Well but it's really not. Windows and Mac OS directly relate to hardware. The arguments are sort of tied together.

Well the thing is, the hardware is the same, and yes you pay a lot less for what you get when buying a PC hardware wise, but really the real argument is between the operating systems. Mac does tend to crash less, and there is plenty of software available for Mac. Windows doesn't even come with a PDF reader, I mean what's up with that? It also has a lot to do with personal preference. Also with Mac, you don't have to defrag, run virus scans, malware scans, spyware scans, etc. You do pay a lot more, but they both have there ups and downs. Although Macs do look better, and that's just a fact. Plus the apple on the back of the screen is awesome and looks better than other logos, which is just a fact. I mean it just is.

lol it sure is :p defraging and malware scans and spyware scans are all good to do, mac is just less prone to attacks, because of its limited access to outside programs. but mac harddrives still get fragmented just like windows harddrives
